Non-Surgical Camouflage Treatment of a Skeletal Class III Patient with Anterior Open Bite and Asymmetry Using Orthodontic Miniscrews and Intermaxillary Elastics

This case report presents the non-surgical orthodontic camouflage treatment of an 18-year-old male patient with skeletal Class III asymmetry and severe anterior open bite. The bite was corrected by extrusion maxillary mandibular teeth clockwise counterclockwise rotation occlusal plane, respectively, using intermaxillary elastics between posterior buccal miniscrews canines vertical canines. dental relationships were via unilateral distalization dentition on left side a closed coil spring shelf screw hook. patient’s smile esthetics relationship improved more favorable facial profile, slightly alleviated after treatment. total time 15 months. A modified wraparound retainer scalloped labial bow, tongue crib, tooth positioner used simultaneously to prevent potential relapse.
